Ask the experienced, not the educated

Posted by jaronreisman on August 9, 2007

Still busy with finishing my thesis sometimes ( it is hard, but I am sure I will succeed soon) I found this Chinese proverb somewhere…These kinds of wisdom keep attracting me: “you will learn by doing, not by studying” (I know this is a rough interpretation, however….). Still I have the feeling that I learned most at the university by not being at lecture, but busy with one of my many projects…. Not just that, the lectures that thought me a lot were from necessarily practically experienced lecturers and not by necessarily educated lecturers…Anyway I am having a good time being practically busy with setting up a company, it takes some, but most important: it gives me the feeling I am busy with something very satisfying, if I’ll succeed…

    dikke knuffel,
